When I was in second grade, our teacher had us create a book for reading class. We created a cover, which she laminated for us, wrote a story, and illustrated each page. Mine was a story about a girl who wanted a bike. She did chores to earn money for a bike. After she got the bike, she had various mishaps and broke her arm. Which then helped her remember to ride safely.
I still have that book, along with many of the short stories and half starts that I wrote as I grew older. In college, I wrote the first draft of what is now Beast.
In 2010, I began to write Esther A. D. and published it through what is known as a “subsidy publisher”. Which basically means I paid them to publish it. It probably wasn’t the best way, but there I was! A published author!
A friend of mine published through Amazon, and after talking with her and researching it myself, I decided to go that route. Currently Beast and Esther A. D. are both available through Amazon on the Kindle, as well as in paperback. I am currently working on Ruth A. D., the second in my Bible A. D. series, as well as Global Warning, a sci fi novel.
